In East Tyrol we visited two alpine pastures on our trip through Tyrol, each of which is quite different in its history, but what unites is that the hosts wanted to break out of their old jobs in big cities and fell in love with the Alps and East Tyrol, so they stayed .
The highlight of the activities was that we got to know incredibly nice people who showed us their homes.
Golden sunbeams shimmering through treetops. Rustling leaves and the crackling of the branches, soft forest floor interspersed with roots, the scent of wood, moss and damp leaves - for centuries the forest has been regarded as a mysterious, archaic place of longing.
