Travel destinations that are particularly beautiful in spring
Spring is the perfect time of year to discover new places and experience nature in full bloom. When the days get longer, the temperatures rise (but not yet the heat of summer!) and the first flowers bloom, we are drawn outside to enjoy the fresh air and the awakening of nature. Easter is a particularly good time to take a little break to explore picturesque landscapes, blooming gardens and charming towns in their most beautiful spring dress. In this article, we will introduce you to five places that are particularly beautiful in spring.
1. Wachau, Austria

The Wachau in Lower Austria is a true spring paradise. Nature awakens along the Danube in April, and charming places like Krems, Dürnstein, Spitz, Stein or Melk invite you to take leisurely walks. The mild temperatures also make cycling tours on the Danube Cycle Path or wine tastings in the traditional wine taverns particularly pleasant. You will also be enchanted by the blossoming apricot trees that immerse the rolling hills in a sea of pink and yellow-white blossoms!
If you want to spend a few days near Wachau, then the best here In the Sonnentor Landlofts also in Lower Austria!

2. Brandenburg, Germany

Brandenburg shines in lush green in spring and offers countless opportunities to enjoy nature. Especially after a gray winter in Berlin, a short trip here is just the thing. Whether a leisurely canoe tour through the Spreewald, a walk through blooming orchards or a trip to the many lakes (you can definitely keep your feet in the water in April!) - the region is ideal for a quiet break at Easter. In addition, cultural highlights such as Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam or the charming little villages in the area are always worth a visit.
If you want to spend a few days in the Spreewald, then the best Im Spreewald chalet.

3. Madeira, Portugal

Madeira, also known as the "Island of Flowers", is at its most beautiful in April. Although it is known to be "eternal spring", you can still escape the crowds of tourists in March or April and experience the island in a more peaceful way. The lush vegetation, the brightly blooming bougainvillea and the spectacular levadas - old irrigation canals with hiking trails - make the island a paradise for anyone who loves nature and enjoys hiking. The traditional Easter celebrations and the flower festival on the island are also highlights that you shouldn't miss.
If you want to spend a few days on Madeira, the best place to do so is Calhau Grande.

4. Tuscany, Italy

Admittedly, Tuscany is beautiful all year round. In spring, however, it is particularly magical here - rolling green hills, blooming poppy fields and idyllic cypress avenues characterize the slowly awakening landscape. Cities such as Florence, Siena and San Gimignano are less crowded in April, so you can enjoy the impressive architecture and culinary delights in peace and quiet. Easter traditions such as the famous "Scoppio del Carro" in Florence make the region a very special travel destination over the Easter holidays.
If you want to spend a few days in Tuscany, the best place to stay is Follonico.

5. Andalusia, Spain

In April, Andalusia delights with its mild climate, blossoming orange trees and a unique atmosphere during "Semana Santa" (Holy Week). Cities such as Seville, Córdoba and Granada come to life again, with impressive processions, flowering courtyards and balmy evenings in the historic old towns. The still pleasant temperatures invite you to explore Moorish palaces and cute alleyways. Or you might be drawn to the sea - Andalusia has a lot to offer. The charming coastal towns such as La Barrosa or Los Caños de Meca are not yet so overrun in spring and you can relax for a few days on the beach or go surfing.
If you want to spend a few days in Andalusia, then maybe in Den Novo Ecosuites?

Are there no other beautiful places in Germany that I can go to by train or car in spring, apart from Brandenburg? Does it always have to be southern Spain or Madeira, where I can almost only get to by plane?
