Here you will also find the torches with which you can go back to Farchant around 18 p.m. to celebrate the turn of the year.

On the other hand, a traditional torchlight march starts at the Eschenloh village square on New Year's Eve afternoon, also at 16 p.m., to Höllenstein, approximately two and a half kilometers away. When you arrive at the secluded Höllensteinhof, there is free mulled wine, children's punch and warm Viennese sausages - torches are also distributed and the voluntary donations received are donated to a social cause. From 18 p.m. the group returns together to the Eschenloh village square, where the local band plays the traditional Eschenloh New Year's song.

A New Year's Eve torchlight hike will also take place in Oberau on New Year's Eve afternoon at 16 p.m., starting at the tourist information office in the direction of Farchant to the boundary stone at the "Historische Schanze", where the brass quartet awaits with festive sounds, mulled wine and children's punch. A special highlight: the Oberauer Dreigesang performs the New Year's song, ringing in the New Year with a festive ring. As darkness falls, the group hikes back towards Oberau with the torches, where the New Year's singing with the church choir takes place in the cultural park and then the New Year can be celebrated at the mulled wine stand. Torches can be purchased in advance at the Tourist Information.
