Cooking, eating, sleeping - a triad that not only harmonizes wonderfully, but also belongs together for us at Good Travel. Because no holiday without tasty food and especially the kitchens of other countries, with their own flavors and typical ingredients, contribute significantly to a special holiday feeling.
A curated selection of delicious recipes and special food concepts
That's why we asked the hosts of our sustainable accommodations for their favorite recipes. A compilation of the selected recipes can now be found in our newly published cookbook "cook, eat, sleep". We take you on a journey of discovery through the kitchens of our hosts: inside and show how diverse European cuisine is.
We also present some food concepts in the book that for us stand for “good food” - from the responsible consumption of meat and fish to the Slow Food movement, the farm-to-table principle and Mediterranean food, which is offered in the so-called Blue Zones. The recipes presented by our hosts are also based on these concepts: inside.
An ideal Christmas present for all foodies who like to travel and want to do something good
The cookbook is an ideal gift for everyone who likes to travel, cook fresh and healthy food and want to do good at the same time. With every copy of our cookbook sold, we donate 1 euro to the “Kinderglück Foundation”. The organization takes on holiday sponsorships for disadvantaged children and organizes around 500 day trips and holiday stays every year. At lakes, in the mountains or to a finca in Mallorca - the trips bring an adventurous change in the everyday life of children and young people, where they not only meet other people, but also find their way back to nature and get to know new cultures.
The cookbook is at our partner GoodBuy - in the shop in Berlin-Friedrichshain and online and - available. Take a look at our cookbook - it's worth it! And give your loved ones wonderful joy for Christmas.
