Team events opener

Five locations for team events

It doesn't always have to be the classic Christmas party. More and more young start-ups and companies are now taking a short vacation for a team event for a few days. Far away from the hectic day-to-day work, you can get to know each other better here and strengthen cohesion and team spirit.

These five locations for team events show you that you don't necessarily have to travel far to do this - all in Germany, so practically right on your doorstep.

1. Ostseehof, Baltic Sea, Germany

A good two hours from Hamburg is the Ostseehof, picturesquely located on the Geltinger Bay. If the team needs a clear head and wants to escape the stressful big city, you should come here. Instead of airplanes, you are woken up by geese flying over the old four-sided courtyard.

Otherwise, the Ostseehof offers absolute tranquility, unspoilt nature and plenty of space. There are a total of four holiday homes available to guests, which can accommodate up to 36 adults. Each of 10 people can be accommodated in the main house with the character of a cottage, in the bright Western barn with high ceilings or in the newly opened Gaul'schen Hof. The small, light-flooded bakery can accommodate up to four people and a guest room with its own bathroom for two people can be rented in the neighboring cowshed.

The event room is located in the cowshed

The event room is also located in the cowshed, where the team comes together in a cozy living room atmosphere. The room has a small kitchen, various seating areas and a foosball table. If you want to combine work with outdoor experiences, you can contact the operator. A wide variety of water sports activities such as stand-up paddling, kite surfing or tours with boats that do not require a license can then be organized.

Anyone looking for activities on land should take a trip to the Geltinger Birk nature reserve. On the 773 hectare area, which mainly consists of dunes, swamps and heather areas, moors and sparse forests, you can discover a variety of animal species. Including wild horses and highland cattle.

Back at the Ostseehof you can, if you wish, be pampered by the “Anna und Meehr” catering service. Intolerances and requests such as vegetarian or vegan catering are also gladly catered for here.

2. Lexow manor house, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany

Surrounded by the Plauer See and Müritz is the village of Lexow with 170 inhabitants, in which the beautiful Lexow manor stands between pear trees and old linden trees. Groups of up to 24 people come to rest here and can use the latest conference equipment in an informal atmosphere.

Enough space for new strategies

Developing new concepts, strengthening team spirit or developing new strategies - there is space for all of this in the Lexow manor. According to your own ideas and needs, you can have a very individual offer put together here. In the all-round carefree package, for example, you don't have to worry about anything other than your own agenda. The culinary well-being is then well taken care of. Everything is freshly prepared and consists of high quality, mostly regional ingredients.

If desired, the operators will be happy to help organize further activities. Whether a joint cooking course, felling wood in the forest, a herb hike or a relaxed yoga session - there is something for every taste. The table tennis tables and foosball tables on site are ideal for team tournaments.

In the evening you come together in the garden by the campfire and end the evening comfortably under the pear tree and who knows, maybe the next big idea will come about here.

3. Terezas, Brandenburg, Germany

Terezas is colorful and creative: in an old stable from Gut Stolzenhagen, the operators have created a place where creative people can fully develop their design processes. Where the ideas, inspired by the environment, nature and silence, emerge undisturbed from the artist's soul and can come to bloom.

Get creative in the countryside not far from Berlin

You can reach Terezas both by car and comfortably and environmentally friendly by train and on-call bus. Here, in the midst of lush nature with forest and water, you can work in peace, far from the restlessness of the big city. There are enough cozy corners on the site where you can withdraw and concentrate fully. Workshops and workplaces are available for educational and craft workers.

Between work and the barbecue evening together, it is a good idea to take a bike tour to one of the nearby lakes in the open air or just go for a walk and enjoy.

At sunset you can meet like-minded people over a cozy barbecue evening or around the campfire and enjoy a glass of wine together. If you want to be to yourself, you can also rent the guest area in Terezas completely for yourself.

4. Rainhof Scheune, Black Forest, Germany

In the beautiful Dreisamtal, at the foot of the Black Forest, an imposing building catches the eye right at the entrance to Burg-Birkenhof: the Rainhof Scheune. First mentioned in a document around 1600, the barn looks rather simple and spartan, but as soon as you enter the country hotel, its perfectly shaped cosiness reveals itself.

All rooms are individually and lovingly furnished, there is no trace of mass production. Instead, each room has its own theme world. The rooms have all been carefully renovated and combine the history of the listed building with modern elements.

Relaxation in the attic

A special highlight is the wellness area on the top floor of the house. In the sauna area, a sauna with a light gable, a steam bath, a wooden tub and various showers invite you to relax. Then you can linger in the loft-like cut rooms with lots of wood and look through the Black Forest panorama window into the green. In winter you can spend cozy hours in front of the fireplace.

Opposite the wellness area is the large threshing floor, which can be rented for all kinds of parties. Well equipped with technology, the charm of the Rainhof barn with its impressive architecture and the fully glazed barn door is underlined.

The operators also offer their guests an all-round carefree package including accommodation and meals, so that you only have to do one thing: arrive.

5. Gutsalm Harlachberg, Germany

Gutsalm Harlachberg is located in the middle of a natural mountain landscape in the Bavarian Forest. As if in a world of its own, there are several buildings scattered across the gently rolling meadows with the small forest pond in the middle. There is a farmhouse with a dining room on the ground floor and a few guest rooms above. The architectural style, just as one would expect around here - wood and whitewashed walls and next to it even a small wooden chapel from 1747, which has been renovated true to the original, stretches its turret into the sky.

The modern seminar rooms offer the necessary tranquility to generate harmony, concentration and serenity. There are various houses with the names Katharina Maria, Veranstaltungsstadl as well as nature and studio house, which are holistically adapted to the individual needs.

Biological construction with regional wood

All of the buildings are made from regional wood using biological building methods and are mostly allergy-friendly. The individual houses are connected by beautifully curved paths and of course lead directly into the forest. Here you can come into contact with untouched nature in the meadows, breathe good air, watch animals graze and come to yourself.
